The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura and the Cancer Resource Center at Community Memorial Hospital will host a free presentation for people affected by cancer entitled: Ask the Doctor about Radiation Therapy with Thomas Fogel, MD, FACRO. The program will focus on modern advances in radiation therapy. Straightforward opinions on the benefits and risks of the newest procedures will be discussed. This free workshop takes place on Monday, June 29, 6:15 to 7:30pm at the Cancer Resource Center, 184 N. Brent St., Ventura, located across the street from Community Memorial Hospital. Advance registration is preferred, but walk-in attendees are welcome. To register, please call 805-652-5459.

Dr. Thomas Fogel was Chief Resident and Instructor in Therapeutic Radiology at Yale University School of Medicine. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American College of Radiology and a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Fogel practices at Cabrillo Radiation Oncology Center and is a member of Coastal Radiation Oncology Medical Group. He is on staff at Community Memorial Hospital and Ojai Valley Community Hospital.
