The league has five divisions for children ages 5-14. There is also a challenger division which enables boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities, ages 5-18 or the completion of high school, to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in the sport worldwide.
The Simi Settlers Amateur Radio Club provides a trained group of licensed ham radio amateurs who are prepared to assist the community with public/charitable events and emergency communications during emergencies. The Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center is a small, intimate performing arts facility lovingly referred to as the 'jewel' which sparkles in the evening light. This historical facility was originally known as the Simi Community Methodist Episcopal Church. Constructed in the 1920's, the building was designed by Arthur C. Lindley, who designed approximately 50 churches between 1912 and 1929.
The Simi Valley Days event celebrates its 18th consecutive year in 2002. The event is the successor of the long-established community festival, Pioneer Days.
